Vine Tying Prothec System
The PROTHEC System is a unique, patented system consisting of the Prothec pliers and the degradable Prothec ties. The Prothec system protects vines, simplifies pruning and reduces operating costs. The unique design of the Prothec tie combines large width and expandable embossed finish, which prevents girdling and other plant damage for any kinds of plants (vines, orchards, vegetables, fruits).The Prothec system allows growers to quickly secure vines to trellis wires by twisting and cutting the expandable tying material in one quick action.Depending upon the job undertaken, the grower has 4 different grades of tying material from which to choose.

The Prothec (CEP) Stretchable Ties
The CEP stretchable tie is made of Polyethylene treated with a UV stabiliser designed especially for holding the vine stock on the training system or the training system used for fruit trees.Thanks to its width and exceptional elasticity, it prevents damage caused by strangling the plant and it features a notched surface and solid casing to ensure strong and durable knotting. It is also suitable for training young plants, lasting for a minimum of 5 years.

In addition to the above product, we've added a "light" version of the original CEP stretchable tie. The new spooled CEP product, called CEP/light is 200 meters per spool, and is half the weight of the original CEP product. All other specs are identical to the original CEP.
